Community is where we gain a sense of belonging, where we find a group of people with common interest. At Teachable, we’re a community of people who believe in the power of the creators and have the desire to help creators grow their business. Just as in teachable:hq, there are communities of Teachable creators in different stages of their business, connected to help each other learn. We know how important it is for you to connect with peers and create communities for your audience. Let’s dive in and see how our most recent April 2021 product update will help you do just that.

What’s new at Teachable?

Community SSO integration with Circle.so

You can now create a community experience for your online course students and coaching clients through a seamless single sign-on integration with Circle.so, a modern community platform for creators. After you’ve created your community on Circle.so, simply go to Settings > Integrations to enable the integration. Any existing students enrolled in your courses will be able to log in with their Teachable credentials. Any new leads will be able to create an account to your Teachable site, so you can add them to your community and capture their contact information. One login means one seamless experience.

All Teachable members on a paid plan have access to enable the integration with any plan on Circle.so. Because we know how creator tools stack up, we’ve partnered with Circle.so to give Teachable members perks and special discounts.

Updates and other fixes

  • Lead form block updates: We’ve continued to make improvements to this new feature as we gather your feedback. You can now delete leads from the Leads table and use our new “email lead created Zapier trigger” to integrate it with other email service providers you use.
  • Preview bar edit: To improve user experience, when you’re previewing your course or pages, you can now navigate back to admin to make changes with the Edit button on the top right corner.
  • Unenrollment Zapier update: You can now enter the student email address when creating an unenrollment Zapier, rather than a student ID. We’ve also removed the “Student Search” column from the actions setup menu. These changes make creating an unenrollment zap more intuitive and efficient. Note that zaps created before this change will not be affected.
  • New Knowledge Base videos: To help provide you with more instructions, we’ve rolled out three more product demo walkthroughs: Setting up Custom Domains, Setting up Payment Gateways, and Create and Manage Authors.
